Growing up in Prosser, Washington was a blessing to me. As a young child, I remember running around a quiet, safe neighborhood with all the other neighbor kids, with not a care in the world. I gave my heart to Jesus at a young age and enjoyed going to youth group as a kid. Community service became important to me as I grew and I developed a heart for helping people. 

A family tragedy in my teen years derailed the trajectory of my life and as hard as I tried to stay on course, there was a void in my life that could not be filled. In that time I forgot about God and it took many years to get back to Him. I am by no means perfect, and thankfully we have a redeemer who can take any broken thing and make us new again. 

In my way back to the Lord I found myself home again, seeing the Yakima Valley in a whole new light. I have returned home to be a contribution- to pray for this land and the people who live here, to give my time and skills to help restore this community, and to use the money I make to make a difference.
